Refund and Returns Policy

Payment and Refund Policy for SGProGrowth – online coaching and training platform

Effective Date: 1st September 2025

This Payment and Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all transactions made for courses, subscriptions, and services (“Services”) offered by SGProGrowth (“we,” “our,” “us”) through our online training platform (“Platform”).

By making a payment or subscribing to our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Policy, which forms a binding agreement under applicable laws including the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and any relevant international e-commerce regulations.

1. Payment Terms

1.1 Accepted Payment Methods
Payments may be made via:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, etc.)
  • Net Banking
  • UPI
  • Digital Wallets
  • Approved Payment Gateways integrated into our Platform

1.2 Payment Authorization

  • By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.
  • All transactions are subject to bank/payment gateway authorization. We are not liable for payment delays or failures beyond our control.

1.3 Payment Confirmation

  • Enrollment or subscription will be confirmed only upon receipt of cleared payment.
  • An electronic invoice/receipt will be sent to your registered email.

1.4 Pricing & Taxes

  • Prices are stated in INR (Indian Rupees) and include/exclude applicable taxes as indicated.
  • SGProGrowth reserves the right to revise prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes will not affect already purchased Services.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Cancellation by You

  • You may cancel a self-paced course purchase within 3 days of the transaction date, provided you have accessed less than 10% of the course content.
  • For live training programs, cancellation must be requested at least 72 hours before the scheduled start time.
  • Subscription services may be canceled at any time, but no refunds will be issued for the remaining term once payment is processed.

2.2 Cancellation by SGProGrowth
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule Services for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Trainer unavailability
  • Technical issues
  • Low enrollment
    In such cases, you may choose either a full refund or rescheduling without additional cost.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Eligibility for Refunds
A refund will be granted only if:

  • The request is made within the specified cancellation period.
  • The course content accessed is within the allowed threshold (for self-paced programs).
  • The Service is canceled by SGProGrowth and rescheduling is declined.

3.2 Non-Refundable Situations
No refund will be provided in cases of:

  • Access to more than 10% of course material.
  • Failure to attend a live session without prior notice.
  • Courses purchased during promotional discounts, unless canceled by SGProGrowth.
  • Technical issues arising from your hardware, software, or internet connectivity.

3.3 Refund Process

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to contact@sgprogrowth.com with payment proof.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.
  • Bank/payment gateway fees, currency conversion charges, and applicable taxes are non-refundable.

4. Automatic Renewals (Subscriptions)

4.1 If you have subscribed to a recurring plan, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each term unless canceled at least 7 days before the renewal date.

4.2 No refunds will be issued for automatic renewals once the renewal payment is processed.


5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability for any claim relating to payments or refunds shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific Service in dispute.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to force majeure events, payment gateway downtime, or cyberattacks.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
  • Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thane city, Maharashtra stage, India.
  • In case of disputes, parties agree to first attempt resolution through good faith negotiations before pursuing legal remedies.

This Policy is binding and enforceable. Continued use of our Platform after any modifications to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
